Spot Rubber Steady As Traders Await Direction

Kottayam: Spot rubber prices closed flat consecutively for the fifth day on Wednesday. RSS 4 was static at Rs 94 a kg both at Kottayam and Kochi as on Tuesday. The volumes were dull.

The market lacked direction as TOCOM was closed on long new year holidays though RSS 3 (spot) shed 31 paisa to close at 102.09 a kg at Bangkok. Traders preferred to wait for a clear trend to emerge once the trendsetter resumes trading on Friday, 4th January.
