Turmeric Extend Prior Gains On Fresh Buying

NCDEX Turmeric futures extend the prior gains in the early trading sessions on fresh buying support. The benchmark April Turmeric futures traded in the ranges of Rs2738-Rs2721 per quintal. The counter is currently trading at Rs2728, up Rs5 per quintal and the open interest for the contract increased 1.33% to 26630 contracts, indicating fresh buying.
The market sources reported that Traders do not want to give delivery on the exchange platform as the expect prices on the spot market to increase.
