Jeera Futures Increase

Mumbai: Jeera futures on NCDEX increased 2.28 per cent at Rs 11,433 per quintal on reports that Turkey, one of largest jeera producer, is setting to attack Kurdish rebels holed up in Iraq. Turmeric gained 2.9 per cent to Rs 2,059 per quintal on short covering. Soyabean and soy oil gained 0.73 per cent and 0.75 per cent to Rs 1,727 per quintal and Rs 493 per 10 tonne.Chana for December delivery lost 1.04 per cent to Rs 2,382 per quintal as prices in the Delhi markets fell by Rs 10-15 to Rs 2,400 per quintal.
