Jeera Futures Improves On NCDEX

Mumbai: Jeera futures on NCDEX topped the list of gainers on Oct 10, with a increase 2.5 per cent to Rs 10,835 per quintal. Good purchasing in the Unjha market supported jeera rally on NCDEX. Soyabean futures rose 2.09 per cent to Rs 1,610 per quintal on good demand from soyameal industry. Castorseed futures were up 1.45 per cent to Rs 405 per 20 kg. On the MCX, potato Agra hit the upper circuit at Rs 644 per quintal on short covering. NCDEX registered a turnover of Rs 2,240 crore up to 5 pm against Rs 1,935 crore on Oct 9. Active trades were high in among others pepper, guar seeds, chana, soya oil, jeera and soya bean.
