Coimbatore: The total offerings of tea at the weekly sale held at the Tea Trade Association of Coimbatore totaled to 5.12 lakh kg, with leaf grades accounting for 1.54 lakh kg and the balance of the dust. Exporters lent fair support for the bolder CTC leaf grades. Few best teas ruled occasionally dearer. Select high priced popular CTC dust grades remained steady. There were some export enquiries for medium teas, Indco and AVT operated selectively on good liquoring teas.
