Kottayam: The domestic rubber rates ruled steady on Sept 27. Sheet rubber RSS 4 ended unchanged at Rs 125 a kg as on Sept 26. The spot rates a kg were: RSS-4: Rs 125 (125); RSS-5: Rs 123 (123); Ungraded: Rs 120 (120); ISNR 20: Rs 120.50 (120.50) and Latex 60 per cent: Rs 77 (77).

Rubber Touches Rs 130/Kg - June 10, 2008
Kottayam: Domestic rubber prices made another sharp uptrend on June 9. RSS 4 ended at Rs 130 against Rs 127 a kg at the previous weekend. Covering groups kept the market higher on the positive side hoping sheet rubber to hit Rs 140 a kg in short term. The grade flared up to Rs 139.36 (134.81) a kg at Bangkok spot. Spot prices were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 130 (127); RSS-5: 124 (121); ungraded: 120 (116.50); ISNR 20: 121 (118.50) and latex 60 per cent: 85 (83).
